Angular frames for round faces, round for angular: the contrast rule and its exceptions.
The basic rule is contrast: choose the opposite of your features. Round faces gain balance with angular shapes like the wayfarer; angular faces soften with round and oval frames.
Why does lens width matter?
Frame width should match your face width. A frame pressing at the temples is too narrow; one sliding off the ears is too wide — both are the wrong size.
